    The person listed as M.L. Dearing in the article should actually be L.M Deering (Louis Michael Deering, went by Michael). I understand it was written as M.L. Dearing in the original papers, but wanted to clarify. Thanks for the article. Between this and the article written specifically about Michael Deering, I’ve learned more about my GG-Grandfather than I’ve ever known.
