Brass Palmolive-Peet Company Token from 1927 – 1928

The Palmolive Soap Company was founded in 1898 by B.J. Johnson.  This soap contained both palm and olive oils and soon became the best selling soap in America.  After merging with another soap manufacturer in 1927, the organization became the Palmolive-Peet Company.  This company only lasted about a year though and became the Colgate-Palmolive-Peet Company after purchasing Colgate Tooth Paste.
