
Confederate Memorial Park is located in Helena, Arkansas and dedicated to the memory of the fallen Confederate soldiers who fought and died during the Battle of Helena on July 4, 1863.

The park is next to the Moore-Hornor House It’s also above and overlooking the Fort Curtis replica site. In 2015 the Helena-West Helena Rotary Club and the Seven Generals SCV Camp 135 erected a plaque in honor of Confederate soldiers. Behind this memorial visitors can observe Battery C Park on the hill above which was the location of some of the most severe fighting of the July 4th battle. A lone cannon also is located at the park. Battery C is in the background.

This park and other historical sites in and around Helena-West Helena are helping tell the role of the city and Phillips County in Arkansas and United States history.
