There was an older man sitting on the front porch watching the place. You give him five dollars and he lets you explore. He has some great stories if you have time to stop and talk. The museum is packed full of historical artifacts with no reasoning behind their locations.

From Native American to Antebellum. From Civil War to the world wars. There is something for everybody’s interests.

Some of my favorite things are outside though. The museum has a tank, some artillery, and tractors parked outside. As a little boy I used to play on the tank. Still remember those days.

The North Delta Museum is located at Friars Point, Mississippi. It usually opens about 9 a.m. and closes at 12 a.m.
