Village Creek State Park is found just outside Wynne, Arkansas. It encompasses nearly 7,000 acres of forested hills and clear streams. There are 33 miles of multi-use trails, campgrounds, bath houses, an equestrian campground with stable facilities, ten cabins, two lakes, picnic sites, and outdoor and indoor theaters. The park also has a visitor center and gift shop.
There are four walking hiking trails. These are the Arboretum Trail, Austell Trail, Big Ben Nature Trail, and Military Road Trail. They range from moderate too easy.
There are two beautiful lakes. Lake Dunn and Lake Austell
The park features an Andy Dye-designed 27 hole championship golf course, the Ridges at Village Creek. Open daily, facilities included a full service club house with pro shop, snack bar, and full driving range. Golf carts are included with greens fees.
